Our Story

A place built
around the counter.

The Shed started with a simple idea: a neighborhood spot that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is — a good place to drink well, eat simply, and linger a little longer than planned.

Located on Portage Road in DeForest, we've carved out a space that honors the rhythm of the day. Morning brings the ritual of a properly pulled espresso and fresh food prepared with local ingredients. Evening shifts the light and the menu — cocktails with intention, beer on tap, and the same warm welcome you got at 8 a.m.
